What is WallRush?

WallRush (also written Wall Rush) is a free strategy board game for two or four players that you play in your browser. You and your rival race a pawn to the far side of a 9×9 board. Every turn you choose: move one square, or place one of your ten walls to make your rival’s path longer.

The catch: you can never block a path completely, so every game stays a race. You can play the computer, a friend, or a quick match online. With four players, all four pawns race at once, to the crowned centre square or to the far edges.

How to play WallRush

1Move one square
Up, down, left or right. If your rival stands right in front of you, jump over them.
2Or place a wall
A wall covers two squares and forces a detour. You get ten, and no wall may shut a pawn in.
3Reach the far side
The first pawn to touch the opposite edge wins. Every turn: race ahead, or slow your rival down.

Is WallRush free?

Yes. Every mode is free, there are no ads in the game, and you don’t need an account to play.

How do you play Wall Rush?

Each player starts on opposite sides of a 9×9 board. On your turn, move your pawn one square or place one of your ten walls. The first pawn to reach the far side wins. You can block your rival’s way, but never shut them in completely.

Is WallRush the same as Quoridor?

WallRush is a Quoridor-style game: the same idea of racing pawns and placing walls, free in your browser, with a computer opponent ready any time. Quoridor is a trademark of Gigamic, and WallRush isn’t affiliated with Gigamic.

Can I play WallRush on my phone?

Yes. It works in the browser on iPhone, Android, tablets and computers, and you can add it to your home screen to open it like an app.

Can I play WallRush with a friend?

Yes. Create a room and send your friend the link or the room code, and they join from their own phone or computer. You can also play on one device and pass it between turns.

Can I play WallRush with 4 players?

Yes. Choose 4 players in the game panel, then pick the race to the centre or the race to the edge. Play three computers, an online quick match, a private room with up to three friends, or four people on one device. Each player has 5 walls and turns go clockwise. Read the four-player rules.
