Community Guidelines

WallRush is a game about outsmarting your opponent, not upsetting them. These guidelines apply everywhere on WallRush: games, player names, profile pictures, reviews, and our official communities (r/WallRush and our Discord). They’re part of our Terms of Service.

Play fair

  • Play your own games. No engines, bots, scripts or outside help in rated games.
  • Don’t lose on purpose, play against your own second account, or arrange results.
  • Don’t stall, or leave games on purpose to waste your opponent’s time.
  • Found a bug? Tell us through the form on our Help page. Don’t use it.

Be a good opponent

  • Be kind to the person across the board, and in our communities. “Good game” goes a long way.
  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or hate based on who someone is, including race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or age.
  • No sexual content, and nothing sexual involving minors, ever.
  • No spam, advertising, links or promotion of other sites or games.
  • Don’t share anyone’s personal information, including your own: real names, addresses, phone numbers, social accounts or photos.
  • Don’t pretend to be WallRush staff or another player.
  • If someone mentions harming themselves, please report it so we can share support resources.

Names, pictures and reviews

  • Player names and profile pictures must be suitable for all ages and follow the rules above.
  • Reviews must be your own honest experience of WallRush. No paid, swapped or fake reviews, and no reviews about other people.
  • We don’t remove reviews because they’re negative. We remove reviews that are spam, abusive, off-topic or contain personal information.

Reporting a problem

Use the form on our Help page and choose Report a player. Tell us what happened, when, and the player’s name. Reports are confidential: the other player isn’t told who reported them.

What happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is, and whether it has happened before, we may:

  1. hide the name, picture or review;
  2. send a warning;
  3. reset ratings or remove game results (for cheating);
  4. suspend the account for a period;
  5. ban the account permanently.

Serious threats, or content that puts a child at risk, are removed immediately, the account is banned, and we may report it to the authorities.

Appeals

If you think we made a mistake, email support@wallrush.io from your account’s address within 30 days. Tell us your player name and what happened. A different team member reviews appeals where possible.
